Giving Every Puppy a Strong Start
At N’Joy Doodles, puppy development begins long before our puppies are ready to go home. From the first days of life, we provide careful handling, daily care, and age-appropriate experiences designed to help each puppy grow with confidence.
Our goal is to raise Goldendoodle puppies that are well-socialized, adaptable, and prepared for family life.
Early Neurological Stimulation
We use Early Neurological Stimulation, also known as ENS, during the early days of puppy development.
ENS involves a short series of gentle handling exercises completed during a specific early development window. These exercises are designed to introduce mild, controlled stimulation while puppies are still very young.
The goal is to support confidence, adaptability, and healthy development as puppies grow.
Daily Handling & Individual Attention
Every puppy receives regular handling and individual care.
This helps puppies become comfortable with:
- Human touch
- Being picked up and held
- Gentle grooming-style handling
- Everyday interaction
- New voices and movements
Because our puppies are raised in our home, they are part of daily family life from the beginning.
Family Socialization
Our puppies are raised around our family, including children, which helps them become familiar with normal household sounds, routines, and interactions.
This early exposure helps puppies learn that people are safe, kind, and part of everyday life.
Age-appropriate socialization may include:
- Gentle play
- Supervised child interaction
- Household noises
- Different surfaces
- New sights and sounds
Early Training Foundations
Before puppies go home, we begin introducing basic routines that help prepare them for the transition to their forever families.
Depending on age and development, this may include:
- Crate introduction
- Potty training foundations
- Bell training introduction
- Gentle leash and collar exposure
- Positive reinforcement experiences
- Basic manners and handling
These early foundations are not a replacement for continued training at home, but they help give families a helpful starting point.
Grooming Introduction
Goldendoodles require regular grooming throughout their lives, so we introduce puppies to gentle grooming experiences early.
This may include:
- Brushing
- Nail handling
- Bath time exposure
- Blow-dryer sounds
- General body handling
Starting early helps puppies become more comfortable with routine care as they grow.
Preparing Puppies for Real Homes
Our puppies are not raised in isolation. They are raised with everyday life around them.
That means they begin learning about:
- Household movement
- Family routines
- Human interaction
- Safe play
- Rest and quiet time
- New experiences
This helps puppies develop confidence and makes the transition into their new homes smoother.
Lifelong Breeder Support
Our support does not end on pickup day. We are happy to answer questions and provide guidance as your puppy grows.
Whether you have questions about training, grooming, socialization, or settling into your home, we are here to help.
At N’Joy Doodles, we believe every puppy deserves a confident beginning and every family deserves support along the way.
